This notice lists the cookies and similar technologies SkillSplore actually uses. It is generated against the real configuration. If a category is empty below, it is empty because we genuinely do not use anything in it — not because the list is unfinished.

Essential

Required for the service to work. These cannot be turned off, because without them you cannot stay signed in. The session cookie is HTTP-only (JavaScript cannot read it), SameSite=Lax, and marked Secure in production.

We also use short-lived in-memory rate-limiting state keyed by IP address. That is not a cookie and is not stored in your browser.

Analytics

None in use. SkillSplore does not currently run a third-party analytics product and sets no analytics cookies.

If we introduce analytics, it will appear here first, it will be opt-in, and declining will not degrade the service.

Advertising

None in use, and none planned. SkillSplore sets no advertising cookies, runs no advertising pixels, and does not participate in behavioural advertising networks. See the Privacy Policy, section 8.

Managing cookies

You can manage non-essential categories from your account settings, or from the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser — blocking the essential session cookie will prevent you from signing in.
